Press Releases: THE 2ND ORDINARY RDP CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEETING

The Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP) wishes to inform the public that it will hold its 2nd Ordinary Central Committee meeting scheduled for the 17th – 18th July 2010 here in the capital. The meeting is expected to be attended by all 72 Central Committee members plus special invited guests.
Discussions will focus on the performance of the party in the regions, the fine tuning of the Party structures and the preparation for the up-coming Local and Regional elections set for November 2010. The Organ will take a deep analysis and evaluation of the strategies used in the November Presidential and National Assembly elections and assess progress made thus far in the court case.
The Central Committee will dwell on the Party Constitution, the code of conduct, lessons learned during the last three years of the Party’s existence and the formulation of new strategies for Local and Regional elections in November. You are, therefore, invited to the opening address by RDP President, Cde Hidipo Hamutenya, on Saturday the 17th, at 09h00 at the Windhoek Show Grounds.
