As a responsible Party, founded on the principles of, among others, honesty and transparency we have been conducting research to establish the correctness of the voter’s roll of Okahandja by-Elections.

To our surprise, we have discovered the following irregularities:

1. Under Age registered voters. 1
2. Double registered voters. 149
3. Triple registered voters. 18
4. Dead people appearing on the voters roll including the late Councilor, Teophirus Eiseb. 109
5. Names appearing twice but with deferent identity documents and sworn statements. 10
6. Gender incorrectly marked. 22
7. Registered people from other constituencies. 8
   

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have submitted the above mentioned irregularities to the Magistrate of Okahandja on Friday, the 29th January 2010 as per the ECN deadline.

However, after having submitted the above, we continued with our researcher and we have discovered more. For example:

1.   Double registered voters, additional 33 more people.
2. Triple registered voters, additional 3 more people.
3. Dead people appearing in voters roll, additional 143 more people.
4. Incorrectly marked gender additional 5 more people.
